Roseau Shearling Coat

Made in the USA

Back before indoor ice brought us the absurdity of an NHL team in Phoenix and also made year ‘round suburban hockey camps possible, the hearty and hard-working dads of the north stood stomping their frozen feet at the blue line in January, outside the boards (that were made of real wood), clapping their hands for warmth, breathing out frost and shouting “Skate! Johnnie! SKATE!!” at their sons as they played for hours.  Hours, on real ice.  Their small town high school teams (like the Roseau Rams, for example), usually with a couple 9th grade phenoms completing the roster, then headed to St. Paul every March for the State High School Hockey Tournament and beat the breezers off of the bigger schools from the south.  This is that kind of leather coat, the hard-working kind that keeps you warm at 10 below if you button it tight. Our CEO wears this coat in the winter and never fails to get compliments.  You’ll see.

Awesome coat for cold weather – tight shearling wool and beautiful dark leather. I’m a 42 in a sports coat – the L was way too roomy; the M is a nice form-fitting snug perfect when it’s cold out.
